Next Sunday (the 23rd), at 6-30pm Warren Millers latest film will be showing in Cambridge as part of the UK tour. It's being shown at the Vue cinemas, near the Grafton centre just a short walk from the centre of town. Warren Miller has been making feature length wintersports films documenting the progression of skiing/snowboarding for over fifty years. This years release 'Chldren of winter' will definitely be worth seeing.
If you have not been to one of these in the past, it is basically watching a feature length ski / snowboard movie at the cinema + everyone gets a goodie bag on entry (usually a Columbia rucksack or similar) and the chance to win one of the many prizes (from tees to skis) during the interval prize draw.
There is a special price of £6 for students (normally £8). This film really will be MASSIVLY AWESOME and we are lucky to have the UK tour dropping by on our doorstep. Make the most of a cheap ticket price and come along to get yourself in the mood for this coming winter season and the varsity trip.
