My role is to assist the president in the smooth running of the club. To achieve this, I do the following:

  * Assist the president in arranging meetings
  * Have the agenda ready at the beginning of each meeting, and takes concise minutes, which are put on the website
  * Compile an action plan for the committee to undertake
  * Fill out the relevant health and safety and risk assessment forms (this also allows renewal of the recurrent grant), and make sure they are up to date
  * Keep the constitution up to date
  * Make sure that the committee are doing their jobs correctly, and if necessary, to assist them when needed
  * Liaise with the Blue’s committee and the Sports Syndicate

===== Race Captain : Ed Gardner =====
As race captain, my role is to:
  * Organise weekly training sessions on dry slope, along with transport to and from the slope.
  * Arrange race entries along with the junior treasurer.
  * Select teams for races (Kings, BUISC, BUDS and Varsity).
  * Organise summer race training either on a glacier or in the southern hemisphere.
  * Liase with the Varsity Trip committee about arrangements for the Varsity races.

===== Freestyle Captain : Josh Brookes =====
My role is to stomp epic hucks. To achieve this, I do the following:

  * Approach the nearest cliff.
  * Jump off it.
  * Spend twenty minutes looking for my skis.

In addition to this, Freestyle captain is in charge of the freestyle side of things at CUSSC. The main role is to arrange regular trips to Milton Keynes Snowdome for freestyle practice, (this includes arranging transport). In addition, the freestyle captain should try to generate further interest in freestyle skiing/snowboarding; this may involve organising trips to see competitions or ski films or organising trips to other related activities such as trampolining to increase people’s confidence to try new tricks.

Role Description:
  * Maintain the bank account with a bank (Lloyds TSB atm) – includes changes of signature / address etc.
  * Ensure all of the club’s monies received and spent are properly paid and accounted for by maintaining a cash book and checking this against bank statements periodically.
  * Compiling end of year accounts at the end of your tenure – the uni has a specific format it likes outlining expenditure, income etc.
  * Compiling a budget for the year you are in the committee and ensuring the club does not over spend.
